The Corniche itself is fine, but many lanes through the vines are single-track between stone walls, with steep ramps. Stay on the main route: the views are just as good and the front splitter stays intact.

The climb to Glion

For a short drive with a big view, the hairpins up to Glion put the whole lake beneath you within minutes of the Montreux-Palace. Early evening, when traffic thins, is best.
