Garage height

At close to two metres tall, the G63 clears hotel valet without trouble, but some older public garages and apartment car parks leave little margin. Share the address with us and the garage gets checked ahead of delivery.

The Quai du Mont-Blanc forecourts

The Beau-Rivage and the Four Seasons both have short forecourts on the lake. Hand the keys to the valet rather than stopping on the quay itself, where traffic and buses keep moving.

Slow down at the border

The 120 km/h Swiss limit drops on many approaches, and French autoroutes have their own cameras at 130 km/h, or 110 km/h in rain. The AMG reaches those speeds very quickly, so take the briefing at handover seriously.

Is the G63 comfortable enough for a family day in Chamonix?

For five people and day bags, yes. The ride is firmer than a GLS or V-Class, but the 1h15 autoroute run is easy. If grandparents are coming, put them in the family car and let the G lead.

How many suitcases fit in the G63?

Can I drive the G63 through the Mont Blanc Tunnel to Italy?
